Welcome!! My name is Jaime Hjelm. I’m the co-founder of Wicked Wrench Co, an automotive repair shop located in South Elgin IL. I am an automotive tech, car lover, a car builder, and a mentor for aspiring future automotive techs.
I’m currently available for consulting engagements, speaking engagements, or anything fun!
Being a taxi fleet owner and technician for over a decade, my sister Naomi and I opened our shop doors to the general public and Wicked Wrench Co. was formed in 2018. Everyday I become more fascinated with the issues newer vehicles are having, finding it challenging, and of course full of accomplishment to repair these vehicles fast and efficiently.
I work at my shop on a daily basis. (If I’m not off doing a “gig”) I also teach free Automotive Basics Classes regularly for whoever wants to learn. I mentor local community college students for the automotive industry, hands on at Wicked Wrench Co.
I surround myself with the best team to work with day to day to get all of the jobs done.
